Patency Capsule pre-testing is not available separately but is included (if indicated at pre-assessment) as part of the fixed price package for the other three tests. 

The patency capsule is a dissolvable capsule, the same size and shape as our other capsules, but provides a simple and convenient way to verify if a testing capsule is able to pass through the body to check that test is the right option for you. 

The small bowel fixed price package includes all necessary pre-assessment (including Patency Capsule Testing if required).

The Small Bowel capsule allows direct visualisation of the small bowel.  It can be useful in  the detection of conditions such as unexplained bleeding, iron  deficiency anaemia, Crohn’s disease, coeliac disease, leaking  blood vessels (angiodysplasia), polyps or tumours in the small  bowel. 

The Colon Capsule fixed price package includes all necessary pre-assessment (including Patency Capsule if required), Bowel Preparation Medication and pre-assessment phlebotomy.

The Colon Capsule allows direct visualisation of the colon. This innovative capsule provides clear images of the colon to support detection of abnormalities and polyps with a minimally invasive, patient-friendly device.

The Pan-Enteric Capsule fixed price package includes all necessary pre-assessment (including Patency Capsule if required), Bowel Preparation Medication and pre-assessment phlebotomy.

The pan enteric capsule combines the small bowel and Colon Capsule tests. With an extended battery life, the capsule allows visualisation of the small bowel and colonic mucosa in a single procedure, potentially reducing the number of examinations and making disease management more convenient.
